TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM UK X Channel 4 x GBBO” (the “Competition”). 

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS 

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN 

Pre-registration for this competition is open from Tuesday 8th October 2024 at 00:01 and closes Friday 11th October 2024 at 10.00am  

To register you must complete the details required including full name and contact details and also tell us your party trick and your favourite baking pun, on the relevant competition page [outlined in section 1] 

On Friday 11th October 2024 at 13:00 10 contestants will be shortlisted but only 3 contestants will qualify to play. The three contestants selected to participate will be chosen based on their level of engagement and entertainment during their conversation with the KISS Production team, as well as the clarity and quality of their audio. 

On Monday 14th October 2024, 3 finalists will go on air with Jordan and Perri for an introduction into the promotion. On Tuesday 15th October 2024 Player 1 will go on air and play the game. On Wednesday 16th October 2024, Player 2 will go on air and play the game. On Thursday 17th October 2024, Player 3 will go on air and play the game. On Friday 18th October 2024, the contestant who has been deemed the winner of the competition will return on air to claim their prize and be certified as the winner.  

On Friday 11th October 2024, 10 contestants will be contacted and be shortlisted to play on Monday 14th October 2024. 

The game will be played, and aired on The KISS Breakfast Show, 7-11am between Monday 14th October 2024and Friday 18th October 2024. There will be one winner of the competition who will win the main prize. The 2 runners up will receive the choice of the 2 runners up prizes available. 

The 10 contestants that will be shortlisted to play the game on Monday will be contacted by Friday 11th October 2024 before 1pm.  

From the 10 contestants that will be shortlisted, the KISS Production team will decide which 3 players come to air.  

The KISS Production team will give the chosen contestants a pre-arrange timeslot to receive the call to play the game, contestants must answer the phone within the agreed timeslot to play the game. If the caller does not pick up, another contestant from the daily shortlist will be drawn at random to play. 

The game will be pre-recorded, and the KISS Production Team will assign which day the competition will go out on air. 

There will be 1 winner of the main prize [see Section 5]. The KISS production team will confirm if you have won the prize. The 2 runners up will have a choice between 2 options of runner up prizes. 

Being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner by the production team on the KISS Breakfast show. 

The gameplay will be pre-recorded and aired on The KISS Breakfast Show between 7-11am Monday 14th October 2024 – Friday 18th October 2024.

3. ENTRY PERIOD 

 

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period: 

From 00.01am Tuesday 8th October 2024 (the “Start Time”) to 10.00am Friday 11th October 2024. (“End Time”) 

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. 

*The specific times of the on-air competition will be announced by the presenter during the show (7-11am). 

Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the final contestants will be announced on The KISS Breakfast Show on Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th, Friday 18th October 2024. 

If an entrant is successfully deemed a winner, the team will be in touch with them within 28 working days to arrange delivery of the prize. However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in Bauer’s sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS 

Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry. 

Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. 

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

Element Terms and Conditions: 

GREEK HOLIDAY  

Prize Packages for two (2) people are for two (2) adults, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;  

Economy flights from major UK international airports only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties); Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;  

Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and UK departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;  

At least one person travelling must be over the age of 18, where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission;  

Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room in Santorini; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; 

A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required to guarantee your room on check in and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card;
