Staffordshire oatcakes, use virtually anything for a filling. Savoury - bacon, sausage, smoked salmon & sour cream, tuna, etc., etc. Sweet - jam, honey, banana - the list goes on.1

Staffordshire oatcakes are like pancakes.
I think the oatcakes the OP is referring to are the biscuit-sized, stiff dry type.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I used oatcakes as a base for a savoury cheesecake. It's a lot like quiche. Lots of recipes out there. Heres an example.
