Credit score for mortgage

Hi,
I am looking to take out a new mortgage. I have credit card debt and a personal unsecured loan. I have managed to save enough cash to pay one of these off, which would be better for my credit scoring to pay off first ? (credit card is 0%).

If you clear a balance today it wont be reflected until your report updates which could be next month.
It might not even get picked up on a DIP as some of them can be up to 3 months out of date.
Pay off whatever your preference is, if affordability is fine it wont make too much difference anyway unless you are very borderline.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I think you should look to pay off your loan first because that should make the biggest difference to you affordability for the mortgage.
