Barclays Rate Switch examples

Hi all
I am planning a barclays rate switch in a few months. I'd welcome anyone experience with this. I can see that they don't do a income or affordability check, would they just also take a desktop valuation in that case?
My property has been extended so has more value than when we first had the mortgage, but I wonder if the rate switch allows to pick different LTVs too
