Currently have a mortgage with NatWest. Ends at the end of October. Looking to move and pay some debt off. 57k left on the mortgage so hoping to sell for around 300k and lend around 130k to move and pay some debt off. My 57k mortgage only has 5 years left. Any advice ?

October next year?
House buying & selling can take 3+ months.
Remortgaging can take 8 weeks....0 -
Fix your current mortgage at the cheapest possible rate with the existing lender. When the time comes to move. Borrow what you need to. Be a while you move I'd suggest.0

I have probably underestimated the time it’s takes to move house slightly 😬
So with my mortgage being up is it best I just leave my mortgage as if I lock in with a fixed term won’t I have to pay to escape ? Can I get a mortgage which means I can leave within 6 months to a year ?0
