Paying off £37065 unsecured debt by July 2027 while continuing to travel this amazing world

Hi, can you see if you can get a BT card for 0% fee (NatWest were doing one)? You can pre-check eligibility on this site. It would make sense to transfer as much of your interest bearing debt onto a new card and then every penny will clear debt instead of interest. Good luck on your journey. I agree with your approach to living your life your way. V x1

I wish! It’s more likely to go the other way, with me paying the bill and adult offspring as extras. Come to think of it, my daughter probably still uses my account.RisingPhoenix1 said:For Netflix do you have any family members that could add you on as an extra household? That's what I'm in the process of trying to sort out and it appears to cost £4.99 a month. Judging from Netflix' website you should get the benefits of whatever package they are on, you still run your own account and you could just transfer them the cost. That would save you £13 without having to have the basic subscription MBNA 237.47/13997.47 MBNA 237.47/13997.47

How many children at home do you have that you are financially responsible for? Could there gaming come from their pocket money to help them with budgeting skills? Could it be a present? I don't know what gaming they do but my nephew gets an annual Xbox pass with his birthday money

I checked and I was £189 in credit. I’ve reduced my direct debt by £27 per month. That’s £27 better coming off Very than sitting in my energy company’s bank account.MFWannabe said:Check your fuel (gas and electric) account, are you in credit

Wow £55 per month saved in a day 👏🤩
Keep an eye on your gas and electric as we’re heading into winter just in case the credit starts getting eaten up x
Water rates at £50 per month is that correct? Is it rates over x months or a water meter?MFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Also are you in a fixed deal for gas and electric? If not and if you’re not already with the tentacle 🐙 supplier you could get £50 from a referral, let me know if you need one 😃MFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

I’m on a metre for water. I pay twice per year, January and June. I need to read the metre but the cupboard is in the shared foyer and screwed shut. Last time I tried to unscrew it I gave up, the screw heads have gone. I’ll try again tomorrow and contact the management company if I fail again. I’ve had estimated bills for almost 3 years.MFWannabe said:Wow £55 per month saved in a day 👏🤩

£50 is a generous set aside based on £249 paid in June.MBNA 237.47/13997.47
