Buying 50% equity

Hi guys.
I own a house that I want my girlfriend to own 50/50.
I'm so confused how she can buy into my equity and own half the equity and half the mortgage.
House value £340,000
Current Mortgage £140,000
My equity £200,000
I rang my mortgage company who said I'd need to add her to the mortgage which I understand fully.
However for her to own half the house she needs to give me £100,000 (which she has in her bank from sale of her house)
I'm sure she can't just transfer this to my account can she ? We'd obviously get a solicitor to draw up the appropriate documents.
Anyone know how this works please in terms of the cash equity transfer.
Thanks in advance ☺️

get a solicitor to draw up the appropriate documents, she gives them the cash, they give it to you

The solicitors sort it out simultaneously with the variation of the mortgage.0
