18YO, working full time on zero hours - pension options?

Can an 18YO working full time on a zero hours contract (earning over £833/month) enrol in the employers pension scheme, and does the employer have to make the 3% employer contributions for them? Does the employer have to enrol them and pay employer conts if they request to join?
Obviously they could open a SIPP at 18, but enrolling in the company scheme would be easier and potentially benefit from the employer conts if entitled?

Found answer here:
If you’re under the age of 22, you won’t be automatically enrolled into your employer’s workplace pension scheme along with your older colleagues.
But if you earn £6,240 or more a year (tax year 2024/25), you have the right to opt in to the scheme.
If you opt in, you’ll be entitled to the minimum level of employer contributions.
If you earn less than £6,240 you can ask your employer to give you access to a pension to save into. They have to do this – and to arrange for you to join. But they don’t have to contribute to it.
