Warrant of Control/CCJ

Hi, just after some advise.
I defaulted on a credit card about 2 years ago (1.8k) debt. I have now been issued a CCJ for this....I chose to ignore all previous letters. All these letters are going to my parents house and I have since moved out.
A Warrant of control has now been sent, a final warning saying a bayliff will be sent.
What will happen if they visit my parents house and they simply tell them I don't live there anymore? My parents travel a lot and are rarely home (although a car is parked on the drive)
Is it worth admitting defeat and just offering back the very little I can afford each month, or contining to ignore?

It could generate a lot of hassle for your parents, even more so if the recovery is escalated to HCEOs. What income do you have as they may also seek an attachment of earnings which means money can be deducted directly from your wages or benefits.
It would make sense to engage, how exactly depends more on your circumstances, ignoring this is unlikely to make it go away and it will almost certainly get worse.
What are you living arrangements, renting? Do you work, claim benefits? Do you have assets they could sieze? Savings?
Could you complete an SOA?

Edited the HCEO part in response to Fatbelly's post below.0 -
It can't be escalated to HCEO because it's Consumer Credit Act. The court bailiff will check and find you have no accessible goods at the claim address, then return it to the claimant.
It's a shame that you continued to ignore right through the claim process as I always think it's best to defend these.
But unless you own property or have earned income they are probably at the end of the road now.2
