TSB Mortgage AIP Question

Hi there, So we have just had a Nationwide mortgage declined. Due to account conduct, they believe we were at risk of utilising credit lines after an offer would have been given. The fact it wasnt due to not being able to afford the property gives me a bit of hope. Mortgage broker has reapplied with TSB 26/09 and valuation has been booked for 30/09. All of our debt except our 2 cars will be paid off with the equity we have in the sale of our current house (offer accepted) and we are still able to put 40k deposit down and have 20k left over for us to use for new furninshings. New house Value is £320K.
We do have AIP with TSB so im hoping things will get accepted this time around.
Any advice or similar situations out there at all?
Do TSB check bank statements? Nothing to hide just shows were in the overdraft alot. But EVERYTHING debt wise will be cleared.
Thank you

I always say every lender has their quirks, things they like or do not like.
Nationwide are very good at certain things but credit utilisation and availability is something Nationwide are not too great on.
I do not have a lot of experience with TSB, but they seem to be a little more relaxed on that side of things.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We are also using TSB for our mortgage application and they asked to see our bank statements.1

We've been waiting for nearly two weeks now, they have now requested the wife's pension statement as she's in her early 50's and our broker was pushing for a 23 year term. Fingers crossed.0

We're still waiting. I was asked today for my latest payslip and bank statements for September from myself and the Mrs. It certainly is dragging out.0
