Since menopause my teeth are yellowing and gums receding plus my 2 front teeth at the front are remineralizing.
Tried looking for products to help but don't know where to start or use, any recommendations please.
I've been to dentist but tbh was not very helpful or caring. Just saying see Hygenist which I have been. I'm on Hrt nearly a year now

What's your approach to dental hygiene - electric toothbrush with pressure sensor? What toothpaste? Mouthwash? Flossing?

This link might be useful: Tooth Remineralization: How to Strengthen Your Teeth (webmd.com)
Xylitol sweets (referred to as candies in the article) are available in the UK. If the HRT is causing you to have a dry mouth, you might find sucking one of these sweets after a meal helps.
I found my dental educator very useful (I had been struggling with poor oral hygene rather than demineralisation). My dentist referred me to the 'educator'. They made the same points that the article above makes about the need to clean your teeth well twice a day with a flouride toothpaste. I now use an electric toothbrush and Tepe brand inter-dental brushes.
The educator salso aid that certain drinks can cause acidity in the mouth that attacks the teeth enamel. This article clears up which drinks don't cause acidity (assuming you take them without adding sugar!) and which definitely do cause acidity: Drinking fruit squash can wear away teeth, says study - BBC Newsround
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
i floss twice a day now and that seemed to make a difference. I also eat a lot of fish (only cheap tinned and frozen)
i had a lot of infections and tooth ache going through menopause and also with under active thyroid starting at the same time Changed my bad diet and as hubby had diabetes at same time we both refer to food chart on fridge now.
Also add water to toothpaste not just spit21k savings no debt0
