Pension scheme for Parish Council

There's considerably more information than that in the contracts - and the names of some individual employees are shown, hence my raised eyebrow.hyubh said:
Yes, because parish councils get to nominate who can join the scheme, rather than employees being eligible by right.Marcon said:
Follow the link I gave - there are links to contracts which include the name of the individual to whom the contract applies.MX5huggy said:I can’t believe this data is pubic in this form, easy to identify individual members of LGPS from this....but not always great for privacy or compliance with data protection.Shockingly, you can tell with 90% accuracy that the caretaker at your local school is an LGPS member too, simply by virtue of the fact they are the caretaker of a state school. Even more surprisingly, apparently PC Plod is a member of the Police Pension Scheme, and your GP is very likely a member of the NHS Pension Scheme. And get this - both Rishi Sunak and Kier Starmer are probably members of the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund. The ICO should be having a field day!
Since the passage of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, the prime minister has been included in the Ministers’ Pension Scheme, on the same basis as other ministers. The Ministers’ Pension Scheme is part of the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund. The Fund also includes the MPs’ Pension Scheme. Nothing secret about that!
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
So... a public body that may nominate individuals for membership of the LGPS publishes the names of those persons when it does.Marcon said:

Genuinely interested to learn from either your good self or MX5huggy what is so terrible about knowing a named public employee is is eligible for the LGPS. Or if you intend merely a positive rather than a normative claim, why it contravenes GDPR...?0 -
I can’t believe this data is pubic in this form,
Not private then?
