On the Marks and Spencer site it says that my local store is open 8-7pm. Does that sound right? I know they got the time wrong for one other day recently.0

Nope it's normal rate, they increased holiday allowance about 3 years ago but you have to use up your holidays for all bank holidays including xmas day now.
Does anyone know if poundstretcher opens on new years day? I couldn't see anything on their website and just remembered I need some of those space saving bags for house moving!
Ah, its changed since I used to work there (11 years ago!!--looks for EEEK! smiley!!) it used to be double time sunday, triple pay bank holidays and etc and if it was a sunday and boxing day well you'd be begging to work to put it mildly!0
