How would you turn a £200k investment into £30k pcm net cashflow within, say, 3 months?
Short lets is about the only low-ish risk way I can think of to achieve that, and am not upskilled in or particularly interested in crypto. Would love to hear other tactics people might be deploying...
The goal here is swift(ish) cashflow, not long-term capital gain...

For example, friend of a friend owns a huge number of storage units, leasing the land they're on (I believe).
Each of these storage units generates c. £200 pcm in revenue.
He has hundreds.0 -
Am I reading this right? You want to invest £200k and want to achieve around 200% interest?0

ie
Initial outlay - £50k on rental deposits for 5 - 8 prime Airbnb units
Generating £60k pcm short let revenue
Costing £30k pcm in rent and utilities
= £30k pcm net profit pre corp tax
But of course there are better/more passive ways, and I'm interested to learn what they are.0 -

Let's assume 8 rentals, to generate £60k monthly turnover.
Each rental needs to earn £7.5k per month. That's continuous occupancy at £250 per night for each property.
Never gonna happen.
I'm afraid to say that your aspirations aren't realistic.
If it were remotely possible to earn 15% per month (30k on 200k), hundreds of thousands of investors would be already be doing it...

Our Alumni includes Jim Ratcliffe, John Reece, John Bloor, Akshata Murty, Charlie Mullins, amongst others, so the results really do speak for themselves. The OP has the fortunate position of a good level of starting capital so should be able to make very rapid success and growth.
Our Autumn enrolment is now closed and January close to full but I am certain we will have course spaces available for starting 1st April.
Good luck with your venture9 -

To your investor point, this model is a long-way from a hands-off, hassle-free proposition - and also requires a certain amount of "legal cojones" - which is why I'm interested in exploring other opportunities as well.
My friend-of-a-friend and his hundreds of storage units, being a case in point.0 -

This thread as far as I can see is looking for ways for regular people to make ends meet or earn a little pocket money (give or take).
You set out some ridiculous del boy scheme which is nothing like that, and then argue with people when they try to give you some kind of advice. If you know all this already, why are you here?Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

You have 'hard evidence', happy that the business plan has merit and have £200k ready to go, looking to generate £60k pcm, with £30k pcm profit after expenses, all within three months.
How's it going, have you secured any properties yet, when are you looking at taking bookings?
As they say, time is money...

I need to meet a property lawyer next week because insurance is a BIG question mark over all of this.
ie my company sublets a property to a louche Frenchman who passes out after sparking up a cigarette, causing an inferno in not just the flat but the wider building....and what happens next?0
