national insurance payments after taking state pension

I took my state pension 7 years ago and stopped paying National Insurance employees contributions. However, my employer has continued paying employer's contributions on my behalf and I would like to know if this is going to be financially beneficial to me at some point.

Employer NI is still payable.
It's financially beneficial to you in the same way as various taxes (income taxes, VAT, fuel duty, CGT, IHT) are beneficial - they pay for Government services.2 -
But has no effect on your SP entitlement.Rodders53 said:https://www.gov.uk/employee-reaches-state-pension-age

Or any other benefits for that matter - unless I'm very much mistaken all the other benefits linked to NI record are only claimable if you are below state pension age.Linton said:

My understanding was that if you defer - don’t claim - your state pension you remain eligible for the benefits you would if below SPA. This explains that if you are in receipt of benefits your pension simply doesn’t build up further.Aretnap said:
