LNER cashback

LNER has always been a good company to book train tickets through, because they always seem to have cashback offers on various debit and credit cards. And it works even if it's not an LNER service that you want. But I'm trying to book now and I just get an error message
"Something’s gone wrong
This has been going on all week and yes, I've tried emailing them and deleting my cookies etc., but without success.
Time to give up on cashback on train tickets?

Try on a different device and/or browser?0

Same with their app, "Something went wrong, please try again later"0

Petty sure Virgin are doing cashback on my Monzo, may be worth a look there instead if you have that card or other cards have a similar offer.1

I closed Monzo two years ago, can't remember why, maybe they were introducing fees for holding the account like Monese did recently.0
-
No, they have never brought that in. They offer paid account options with perks but the free one is, erm, free.0

In which case I probably used it to switch to another bank to get the incentive.

It has finally worked, in their app.0

I’ve had similar issues with booking platforms before, while i was going on a poker tournament in Las Vegas cause sometimes their systems just glitch out for days and support isn’t much help. If cashback is the main goal, it might be worth looking at alternative sites or comparison platforms instead of relying on one provider. For example, I’ve been using https://www.pokerlistings.com/ lately cause it different niche obviously, but it’s a good example of how a well-structured comparison site can save time and help you find better deals when the main option isn’t working.-1

If you have access to an employee benefits ports via your employment, always worth checking there for relevant discounts, which may also be "stackable".
(Such portals are a bit like the "voucher code" websites, but targeted at specific employment communities and may have better deals than would be available to the wider public. Operators include Edenred's RewardGateway and Benefitshub, but are usually employer branded; if you had childcare vouchers managed through Edenred you may also be able to access the same discounts as would be on RewardGateway via your "old" childcare voucher account, if you have unused balance unspent).0
