Partial settlements - Virgin and Capquest

Hi all,
I just wondered if anyone has experience with these two debtors.
I've now partially settled the majority of our debts successfully but Capquest are taking ages to come back to us and Virgin said we have to go through Stepchange.
I spoke to Stepchange and said once I'd settled the rest id then ask them to liaise with Virgin as otherwise they have to offer out to all debts which I do not want to do as I've already sent out offers on all of them, with most paid and settled.
Hope that makes sense!

Never involve Stepchange when making offers, they act in the creditors best interests not yours. You don't have to go via Stepchange, what Virgin mean is thst they'd like you to go via Stepchange as they willl try and get as much as possible out of you. If Virgin don't engage with you on your offer id just ignore them completely until they sell the debt on to someone who will accept an offer. There's no rush, make them think they aren't getting anything and at some point somebody from somewhere will accept an offer.

I have Dyslexia which is a learning difficulty that primarily affects the skills involved in accurate and fluent word reading and spelling so some post may not make sense.0 -
I took it to mean two separate debts but I may have misunderstood.
I wouldn't chase anyone in this kind of situation, if they dont respond then just stop paying and wait until they start making offers to you.

You can just cancel your DMP with Step Change, wait a month and then make your offer, if they don't accept set up a payment arrangement.0
