  • TBH I'm not convinced in the £20B+ shortfall. Labour had data months before coming into power but only found after taking up government, aye right, because we all know politicians misdirect, deceive or down right lie (whatever party they are in).  To me its a scaremongering budget to up the tax income so they have easier head start on the next 4 years.

    The media paranoia (most of it stocked by political interests) is shaking the tree to see what falls out and lands better than other ideas, concepts, strategies. Make no illusions posts like this one are followed by analysts to gauge ideas and opinions, OK they will defer to institutional papers / publications but meta data is valuable to them. 

    I doubt there will be pension reform of any significance next month, but then what do I know.
