CCJ defense advice - heating engineer claiming against me

Hi foks, hope this is the right forum - let me know if it's not.
I have a bit of a petty saga which has been going on for nearly a year now...
I had a heating engineer come and do a few jobs, two of which weren't done as per the quote (which had some pretty ambiguous wording on it) and while I paid up for the work which was completed, I've ended up with a MoneyClaim case against me for the remainder.
The claimant appears to be signed up to some sort of debt collection, no-win-no-fee service so they initially handled the threatening letters and emails which just went round in circles and then the official claim was created. I have a feeling that's why they've continued this process for what is a pretty daft amount of money to waste this much time on (less than £250).
I submitted my defence and we went through the mediation process (which wasn't successful) and we've now been given a court date.
As far as I can tell, I need to submit my "documents" to the court and the claimant at least 14 days before the court date, but I can't see anywhere on the letters how best to send it. Is email valid? Should I send unsolicited emails to the claimant? I don't think I have their postal address anywhere - I'm sure I could get it from companies house, but that again seems a bit weird.
Same for the court - it's been allocated to a local court so I have a postal address, but can I just email the documents over?

Well you can send by post, unsure if email is a valid form of submission, you can personally serve the documents or engage someone to do it for you, but there is a cost for this obviously.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. "All documents on which that party intends to rely on at the hearing" plus witness statements.
