Right, as im so innocent, and yesterday was bringing up my lunch unblocking my bath pipes as it took ages to drain ever since I got the house, a 'kind' lady told me to make a volcano.
So, reattached the plumbing and today went and got some baking powder, stuck 4 tablespoons of the stuff down the plughole (which left a little mountain on top) and poured half a bottle of vinegar on it. Wasn't going down the plughole, so emptied the whole bottle of vinegar on it, which caused more mess.
The excitement of the mini eruption has now gone, and I'm left with it looking like someone's had an accident in the bath, and it don't seem to be moving.
So, was this lovely, loving, cute women having a laugh on my expense?! Someone reckons so, now I'm thinking she is!
She's in trouble if she is!
I'm seriously starting to think she's having a right little giggle at me just following her every word!
Next question would be.....what's the best way to get rid of baking soda diarrhoea from the bath and frothing from your plughole?!

Trying to be helpful....snigger....where does the bathwater drain to?
As in does it go into the soil pipe, or does it drain down into an open grid?
You may have a blocked soil pipe....lovely job to unbung one of those.
Lift the manhole cover and with the help of a friend...(I'd find another one if I were you)....flush the loo....maybe better if has not just been used...and see how long and how much volume of water whooshes through the manhole.
If it's just a trickle..you've got a blockage. :eek:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Just put boiling water down the pipes for now and then later you can get caustic soda or soda crystals to put down the drain- follow the instructions very carefuly as it is "caustic" - not joking!"This site is addictive!"
