How long does an Occupiers Consent Form take to be sent by lender? Currently delaying our exchange

We are FTB and our purchase has had issues with the chain for a few months now that have been out of our control.
At this point, we were told that our seller's solicitors are expecting an Occupiers Consent Form to be sent form their lender before we can agree on an exchange date. Everything else is signed and ready to go.
This is all the information I have at this point and I would really like to know how long this can take as our own mortgage offer is almost close to expiring.

Unfortunately we don't know. This is the lender for our seller's onwards purchase and their solicitor has not been very communicative.amnblog said:..and the Lender is?
I get that this might vary from lender to lender, but I was wondering if this is something that will take weeks or if we can hope for it to be done in a few days.0 -
Sounds like a stalling tactic to gain some time. You'll never know what's actually going on. As it's none of your business. The seller will have their own agenda.porridge_enthusiast said:
