Yes the mods seem a bit more relaxed now the election is over about threads that touch on politics ( unavoidable if discussing pension legislation etc ) . However such comments are normally unacceptable.

Hear! hear! They are terrible. Every day there's a new PENSION RAID warning. They appear to be willingly trying to scare their readership. If you believed everything they wrote you'd fear your entire pension pot could be 'raided' by an evil chancellor, rather than any likely change affecting future contributions only, or the 25% TFLS.

Perhaps, but I've not seen any Telegraph articles suggesting the OP's fear of a flat 40% tax on pensions. Do you have a link?

I suspect OP got that from somewhere else, like social media which is full of ridiculous conspiracy theories.
