How much savings allowed

Currently receiving pension credit. I don't have any other income.  How much could I be allowed to save - is it £6,000 per annum please?

  • Don't think that there's any limit on how much you can save per week/month/year, but pension credit will be reduced when you have £10,000 in total savings - for each £500 it reduces by £1/week.

This is, of course, just considering PC in isolation, your personal circumstances are almost certain to be more nuanced than this.

If you don’t mind me asking, how are you able to achieve £6k per annum of savings while on pension credit? Do you have very low outgoings?
