Had a lovely weekend, got my glasses fixed and spent today giving the house a deep clean.Had a re-jig of my finances now all of the bills are paid and I'm halfway to payday woohoo! So I've lessened my weekly allowance slightly, and paid some more towards my credit card. Will have this clear next month, and will be able to put some towards the sinking funds.CC Balance - £368.63 (getting closer to that £0 balance)xoxo3

Little update as a mid-way through the month..
I've managed 10 NSD's out of 16! I don't think I've ever accomplished that in my life, so I'm very proud of myself, and I can really see the difference in the bank.
I made a decision, I pulled out what little I had in savings, rejigged the budget (again), and I can safely say that my current CC balance is....
drum roll please..
£0 !!!!!! Woohoo!!
I've been working hard on my spreadsheet the past couple of months, and in March there are a few things that I don't need to pay for (but will restart in April) which will leave me a little extra than normal. I think I'm going to put the majority of what is left over after my bills & allowance to my Car sinking fund (MOT & Service) - this isn't due until September, but at least I won't have to find anything for it between now and then.
Which got me thinking.. I've read many diaries, and everyone does things a little bit different to suit them. But the rule of thumb tends to be; Emergency Fund, Sinking Funds and a CC for an absolute emergency - So what category would go into an Emergency Fund? - Perhaps the tumble dryer giving up? I hope this make sense.
My plan (I think, I may change my mind) is, in April is to start tackling the remaining debt which currently stands at £3811.22, and use March to save save save.I've paid nearly £1000 this month to clear my CC, so I know I can do it when I put my mind to it.I hope everyone is having a good weekxoxo

I think the Emergency Fund is also different for everyone. At the start of your debt busting then yes it would include something like the tumble dryer giving up but once debts are out of the way then it is a good idea to have a Household Goods pot (sinking fund) so that if that happened you'd have the money there and not need to touch the EF. Hope that makes sense.0
