Applying for two personal loans in quick succession

Hi there. Advice needed please. I recently applied for a personal loan from my bank. I foolishly included in my monthly salary figure a portion of income that I get from self employed income which is outside my PAYE income. They came back to me asking to evidence this for the last 3 months. As I'm not able to do this in a way which will satisfy the bank's evidence criteria, I've withdrawn this application. Now I plan to reapply with just my PAYE income which can easily be evidenced with payslips.
My question is: Will these two applications so close together for a personal loan from the same bank badly damage my credit score?
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Don't worry about your fake credit score
I would talk to the bank before applying and explain the situation just in case, better that than a fraud marker
If you are self employed and earning legitimately / declaring tax / filing accounts, why were you unable to provide evidence of this?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Because I haven’t done a self assessment tax return for the most recent period, 3 months up until the day I applied for the loan. I can evidence self employed income from previous tax years, but not this most recent period.Nasqueron said:Don't worry about your fake credit score
