Over 16 maintenance still in education on -line due to “ADHD” (allegedly)

My son has turned 16 and my ex says I must continue paying maintenance as he is doing English and maths on line as he has “ADHD”. Tbh seems like his normal teen behaviour has been made to seem worse so my ex can continue claiming benefits for him. Whilst sometimes a handful I have never believed he has ADHD and have plenty of family video showing a perfectly normal teen child. I don’t live locally now and believe he is going to be working whilst doing “12hrs study” for just 2 GCSEs. What options do I have to get this looked at.
No reliance should be placed on the above.

My daughter got 6 9s and 4 8s in her GCSEs and has today been diagnosed with ADHD. It was a surprise to most other than her and us. So I do not think you realise how it can present in a myriad of ways.
Also, it has taken several months and many hundreds of pounds to get the diagnosis, she is on the list for NHS but it will take at least 2 years and we couldn't wait.
If your son is being allowed to reduce his subjects and study online then clearly he needs to, it wouldn't have been easy to secure.
I think you are clutching at straws, I have no idea about financial support but I do know that you can only be diagnosed by a certified mental health professional and there would be no benefit for them to lie.:eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20171
