Reassure personal pension

  • I received  a phone call from Reaasure complaints team today, they admit they have made a mistake and terminated my pension in error, the call was to put my mind at rest, they are now aiming to reinstate my pension over the next 2 days, and find out why it was terminated in September 2023.

relief is an understatement, however I am now concerned as to what my pension pot is now going to be worth, I will be asking for the pension to be brought completely up to date at their expense, plus interest of course, at least that will put it where it should be without any of this happening, but should I be seeking compensation of some sort, or would bringing the account up to date at their expense be enough??

I see no reason why you should not request compensation for the anxiety caused and for the maladministration.
  • Slightly off Topic. But just wondering if anyone else has or has had viewing pensions Via reassure now. Portal

I have not been able to view mine for around 3 or 4 months now, I messaged or call reassure now. And get a generic reply saying the account is being worked on and can not be view at this time.
When I ask for a time frame I am advised they can not give me one

If presumably the pension was invested when it was terminated, it should be straightforward to calculate what its value would be today. There would not be any interest as such. In fact it might have gone down, although unlikely between Set 2023 and today.
Do not know about Reassure, but compensation payments when you hear about them are usually around £200 mark.

I logged into it last week and it let me in but a bunch of plans were missing from the list.
