Good morning, it's not quite full daylight, almost there though. It's a cloudy start.
Yesterday was quite nice, turned out sunny.
I had the results of some oesophageal biopsies yesterday, all's well apart from some issues that can be treated. It's been a long 8 weeks since they were done. I've been worried as I do have problems in that area.
Camelot, I'm pleased that your little dg d is home, hope she's doing well.
Thoughts also to Mehefin and others who are sad or poorly.
Take care folks.

Morning allThanks for starting us off Scarlet. Good news on your results, must be a big relief for you.Breakfast and Match of the Day here.Treated ourselves to a meal deal in Marks yesterday so that's a nice easy dinner sorted today. Food delivery due in an hour or so and then stripping the bed later, mooch round the garden to see what's what while I've been away and a footie match to watch on tv later which I'm not confident of the outcome!Hugs to all who needs oneHave a good day all x10

Morning,
Can a newbie sneak in and say hello

Happy Sunday
Damp and grey here with a thunderstorm warning. To be honest don’t mind if it rains, it makes me feel less guilty for not doing outdoor jobs. Yesterday tackled a huge hedge and my shoulder is paying for it now - DDad managed two 20 minute sessions helping clear up (with no crutches) so that was good.Sorry, nothing more exciting to share so I’ll just wish everyone a good day

Morning
Ambyth, welcome. I am also a newbie to this thread, stay around it's so friendly.
Dull this morning with rain forecast later. Will have to venture out later for bread and of course dog walking.
Did anyone watch Disco at the Proms last night? It didn't disappoint and much foot tapping going on here.
Scarlet, so pleased you got a good result, it must be a load off your mind.
Camelot, hope you enjoyed your baby cuddles.
Love to all x10 -
Morning all. Thanks for starting us off @Scarlet - it's good that your news is mostly positive, I hope that everything can be sorted soon.Welcome @Ambyth, please do join in.I'm not too well today, got some nasty in my gut (again or still) which is rather distressing. I'll be staying upstairs for a while longer.Virtual hugs to all.10

Morning All
It was lovely and sunny when I got up but has clouded over now. Hoping it stays dry as I've the bedding to put out. Yesterday's washing was all dry when I got home, just one dress to iron but that can wait. Bathrooms cleaned and floors mopped with the clean mats put back down.
Lovely baby cuddles yesterday, she's just a wee cutie. She was still on the uv mat for jaundice but they had to take her to the hospital yesterday for another blood test and she's now off the mat. I think Mum will be glad she can get her dressed now! I bought lunch on the way to save them any bother and the other DGC were there too so a good catch up with everyone.
It's a 3 hour round drive so I was stiff when I got home so went out in the garden to do some trimming and cut the grass, will tackle the front today as I bought some weedkiller for the dratted block paving. I may even cut the hedge if I have the energy!
Welcome Ambyth.
Hope you're now well rested after your walk Coxy.
Feel better soon Gers.
Glad you have your results Scarlet, that's a long wait. Hope the treatment goes smoothly.
Hugs to anyone in need.
Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday, take care. XX

Good morning all, September already! My DH would say White rabbits if there was an r in the month, no idea why.
Thank you for the start @ScarletRibbons
Welcome @Ambyth
Struggled yesterday, not sure why, probably having walk and talk Thursday and bereavement café Friday.
Sunny this morning, quite a change from the grey wet weather yesterday.
Camelot please you got your cuddles
Mehefin look after your self.
Take care
If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.10 -
welcome to new members ,I’m an intermittent poster trying to do better .
Off out soon to help at the monthly old people’s lunch ,desserts made ,I’m now 75 and wondering how soon I cross over to being a recipient 🤣🤣
Then this afternoon my son and one of the DGS are coming to collect their cat who has holidayed with me whilst they were away
Won’t be sorry to wave her off ,she’s been much more ‘teenage ‘ and stroppy this year than last !
.Hopefully my scratched carpets will recover and DS will replace a kitchen kickboard I had to remove to rescue her when she got stuck under a cupboard !

Hi everyone,
Sue, my DMiL was still serving at OAP lunches well into her eighties, she'd have been shocked to be told she was one of them.
Scarlet, I'm glad your results came back OK - I'm still waiting for the ones on the polyp they biopsied last time and I'm more anxious about it than the first time they did it.
I wasn't very well yesterday, no idea what was wrong but I kept nodding off all day, I feel better today but we have no real plans because Steve is painting the barge boards at the front now the scaffolding is up.
I hope you feel better soon Gers.
Have a good day.9 -
Good morning everyone
Weather here is dull but fine at the moment wonder how long that will last. Nothing much planned for today, I have some onions drying off in the greenhouse so it might be time to give them a trim and put into the legs of old tights to store for winter.
Hope you feel better soon Gers and glad your results were ok Scarlet.
Thinking of those who are sad or poorly and a special thought for Derek
Take care x9
