Hi all, has anyone had a mortgage go through with Kent relince recently ? And how long dose it normally take. We submitted our full application on Tuesday and was advised by our MB that it’s a 3 days turn around for the underwriting but nothing about the house valuation yet ? Is this normal. Just a nervous first time buyer.

Kent Reliance are currently 16 days from application to offer on average. (The 3 days benchmark is the time to initial underwriting. This means little to you as it relates only to the time for someone to take an initial look at the case)
You need to exercise some patience here. With a following wind you may have your offer in the middle of September.

Good luck with yours! Our mortgage application was submitted to Kent Reliance yesterday morning for a 20% share of a shared ownership property. We are first time buyers and so incredibly nervous!!1

Same ! We are also first time buyers and still incredibly nervous our mortgage advisor came back and said the lenders requested a document from my HR to say that I work from home 4 days a week ? So weird and they just wanted mine and not my partners that’s added on another 3 days to the underwriting0
