Nationwide mortgage overpayments

Hello,
If I overpay on my mortgage with nationwide, the limit before any charges is just under £11k per year.
Do I have to provide source of funds for the over payments eg bank statements, ISA statements? Is it something I need to get a solicitor involved in to make the payment?
Thanks,
