1. The competition closes at 23:59 on 28/09/2024.
2. There are only 3 prizes available. Each First Class LNER ticket prize is for two people travelling together and includes two First Class tickets for travel on London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train services between LNER calling stations. The prize must be taken by 13 February 2025.
3. To receive an extra entry into our prize draw, participants must be an LNER Perks member either before entering the competition or must join LNER Perks during the competition period.
4. For Prize 1, the stay at a Green Tourism certified 4-star hotel with breakfast in Edinburgh or equivalent is subject to availability.
5. For Prize 2, the £100 York Gift Card can be used at over 300 businesses in York city centre. The card must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the participating businesses.
6. For Prize 3, the destination must be along the LNER route and is subject to LNER's operating schedule.
7. LNER travel is subject to availability and excludes peak travel dates: 1 August to 31 August 2024 (all journeys to/from Scotland), 25 October to 3 November 2024, 11 to 21 October (all journeys to/from Scotland), and 14 December 2024 to 2 January 2025 inclusive.
8. The winner may be required to consider alternative dates if their first date is fully booked or if engineering work or strike action is taking place.
9. It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange their transport to and from LNER calling stations and between attractions. Any additional costs incurred during the trip must be covered by the prize holder - this includes train journeys to and from non-LNER calling stations. You can see our route map and calling stations here.
10. Promotional codes for two First Class LNER tickets will be supplied via email upon acceptance of the prize by the winner. Travel must then be booked by the winner by visiting Claim your prize (lner.co.uk) and the promotional codes should be entered in the promotional codes box. It is the winner’s responsibility to keep the promotional codes safe, as these cannot be reissued.
11. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or prize alternative available. LNER reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond LNER’s control make it necessary to do so.
12. Winner will be randomly selected from the database of entrants who enter.
13. LNER will notify the winner by email within 5 working days after the closing date, using the email address registered when entering the prize. The winner will have a further 5 days to accept the prize before another prize winner is randomly selected.
14. Entrants must complete the competition form on this page to be entered into the competition.
15. This competition is open to UK residents over 18 years of age.
16. Employees and family of LNER or any agencies connected with the set-up of this competition are not eligible to enter.
17. LNER is not responsible for invalid email addresses being registered on the competition form.
18. One entry per person only.
19. No purchase is necessary.
