in Cutting tax
Hi, we are leaving UK July 2025. Until then we are employed and paying tax at 40% tax rate. So the sum total we will earn till July will not be above the threshold at which 40% tax needs to be paid.
Question: Do we need to do anything before the start of the next tax year or will there be a way to claim money back from the tax man post factum?

you are asking for facts which will be answered much more comprehensively if you read them for yourself on the Gov/HMRC webpages, this will get you started:
Tax if you leave the UK to live abroad - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
if you don't understand a point, we can then explain it rather than asking us to write out info already available
