The debt became statute barred on the 19th November, at least according to my records. I thought I'd stop hearing from them. The date of default being 20th November 2018.
Yet I got an email from them last night, just a standard, "Action is required on your overdue account" email.
Should I write to them pointing this out or just keep ignoring them?0 -

This is the point collection activity ramps up, it shouldn`t be like that, and they have had their knuckles rapped before for such activity, but its the nature of the beast to take it as far as possible to get them a payday.
Ignore unless the situation gets silly, then send a statute barred letter to them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I wouldn’t offer them anything since it’s months away from being timed out just dispute the debt and ask for proof of it and by the time they get back to you it’ll time out:A0
