Best way to sell my e-bike safely

Hi I’ve decided to sell my e-bike which although 3 years old- Volt Metro - hasn’t been ridden more than 200 miles.
My question is how to sell this bike (£1800 when new and of course selling for much less)?
im nervous of the usual platforms eBay Facebook etc and the local bike shops are unable to help. Why would they.

Any suggestions on how and where to sell with so many scams welcomed.
Many thanks.

A notice in the local paper shop ?0

I would still use Facebook or eBay but put collect in person only. Take cash only and no test rides, they could ride off with your bike.1

I wouldn’t buy a bike without a test ride, so maybe get proof of identity and hold a credit card?2
