Two of their recent competitions asked you to join their Facebook group to get a password to enter the competition.
Has anyone else requested to join and now found themselves blocked from the group?

I politely asked on their Facebook page what was going on, and they have now blocked me there too.

Yes, same here. When the two competitions were posted I went on and requested to join the group and like you, when I went back to check if the request had been accepted, I appeared to be blocked and now get the message 'This page cannot be accessed right now).
I can still access their main Facebook page for now but they say the live draws will take place on their group page, so this is not the best way for them to gain new potential customers when they wouldn't even be able to watch the draws.1 -
I didn't bother entering them but page and group are still there. Don't understand why they would block people when they want peoples money their loss though.2
