Nationwide Process Advice

Hi All,
just looking for some advice in hope to remove some stress
back ground
applied for mortgage with Nationwide 04/04/2024 directly
Approved and offer received 11/04
14 Aug contacted them for a revised offer due to interest rate reduction, all done and complete on the call with revised offer emailed to me before call had finished.
22nd Aug, they have again reduced the interest rate, so called again to repeat the process, thinking it would be as straightforward as last week.
But no, for some reason it’s triggered a reassessment as it’s gone back to underwriting, they have also asked for my latest payslip (which they did not request on the initial offer).
should we be worried……
I can see they have done subsequent search’s with the CRA today, nothing has changed in our circumstances, no additional borrowing (if fact we have made 5 more monthly payments on our outstanding debts which where all declared on the original application), and everything else is clear on our reports.
to make matters worse, we are contractually committed to complete on the new house in 14 days time
any Advice?

It is not unusual for a post offer rate change with a Lender to trigger a fresh credit search or a request for updated documents.
