  • Can the remaining 15K renovation be put on hold for now?  I know it feels so close to completing renovations, but as you have seen ...things can snowball.

    I would surprise if you could get a new mortgage product that would meet your requirements given the size of your debt and your changes in circumstances (the pregnancy). 

    I think your only realistic option is to pause renovation, max ability to increase income and decrease expenditure so that you can reduce the debt. Focus on your interest paying debt (only paying minimal amount to 0% interest debt) spending every extra money on decreasing the highest interest debt. Now is not the time to take on extra debt. The rest of the renovation will have to wait until you can afford it.

    I can see on your other thread that you have an AP marker on a Scottish Power debt.
