Hi, wasn't sure where to post this, but wondered if anyone can advise me. I had a flat battery the other day after leaving my interior light on
Have fully charged it but my radio won't work without entering a code
Its a Y reg Renault Clio.
The radio appears to be the one originally in the car , it hasn't got any make written anywhere, and although I've had a few guesses..nothing works. No info in the manual either. Any ideas? I'm missing my music!!

Go and see your local Renault dealer, they will take the details off the V5 document and get the radio code for you. When it happened to me thats what I did, not only did they give me the code but entered it into the radio for me. AND they did not charge for it either :T
However I have heard that some dealers charge.
There are some web sites that can give you the radio codes too, I am sure some one will give you those.

The same happened to me when I had my car. I went to the dealers and they charged me £20 but told me that they couldn't guarantee that the code they had would be the one as the previous owner could have changed it. Luckily it was the right code and I had music once again!Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0

Hi,
i went to Renault and got the radio code but when it put it in it came up with "others" and wouldn't accept it. Any ideas as its really dull without music!!
Thanks0 -
Buy and fit an aftermarket CD headunit, you can pick up one 2nd hand from the scrap yard or ebay for £10+ = no code required0
