Apologies if this question has already been asked in another category...or if Ii have posted in the wrong category...
Just wanted to ask how on earth as a UK resident can I purchase though a US website?
Some websites are fine, but some require US billing address which I do not have...neither any friends or family living there. I have my own credit cards but then they would not link to a US address!!
The website does not accept paypal only unioncard?
I've read about revolut card/digital... but users still have the same issue as the revolut number is issued in the uk.
Surely we are in 2024...baffled as to why?
Any advice/solutions?

What's the nature of the purchase?
It can be tricky buying from US sites for several reasons. A common one is that retailers are obliged to levy sales tax if the buyer is resident in certain States, so they need a US address to check for this.
Never heard of Unioncard, sure that's right?1 -
Use a third party shipper like NYBox, send the stuff to them and they will then send to you. May not be cheap.1
