Housing association council tax

Hi, I’m hoping someone can enlighten me on a question I have on checking if my council tax banding is correct.
this is a property owned by a housing association and many others around me. I believe they were owned by the local council many years ago and they taken over by my housing association. 

I have no sales records for this property or others that are identical or similar because none are owned, apart from a few in the late 90s and after. 

I have spoken to the VOA who has told me they can’t help me unless I can provide proof of sales on other properties or mine on or before 1994 (I think I recall that correctly as it was 5 years ago I had that conversation).
I’ve reached a dead end with this and have no idea how to pursue this query further when I can’t provide evidence to dispute my council tax banding.
any advice would be much appreciated.

What is the banding for the other properties around you?

I presume they are of similar build, size etc?

If you have no evidence to dispute your CT band, why do you think it is incorrect? As @DE_612183 has posted what are the bands of neighbouring properties?
