Hi ya please can anyone recommend a carpet cleaner/ spot cleaner to purchase something like a vax?
Cat has really bad diarrhea and the stair carpet was decorated during the night again.
He has been to the vets and he is now in a different food what the vet recommended.
Cat is also very old which doesn't help.
Thanks

Do you need it long term? If not then you can rent them ( sometimes from sores like Tesco / Asda ).
Sent my best to Cat.
I had a cat friend once called Rover - he was barking mad.2 -
I have an older version of the Bissell Spot Clean Pro - older only because it is going strong after many years! Cleans the carpet like new and far better than any other I have seen. If the current one is anything like it, then it will be perfect for the job.2

I have a Vax carpet cleaner - the £140 one. My carpet was a little ripe after potty training the toddler.
It has done a great job, and I don't have to worry about renting and returning the Rug doctor.
Make sure you clean every part and let it air dry before storing the cleaner. Choose a warm day to do it on as the carpet takes 4 hours to dry afterwards.

I am looking at a Bissell at the minute and it has good reviews plus £20 off https://www.bissell.co.uk/products/spotclean-pet-proSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
I have had both Bissell and Vax models over the last 30 years. If I ever needed another then I would chose the Bissell every time. It cleans better, lasts longer and customer service is 100 times better if you have a problem.1

I have a Vax delux something or other upright with an upholstery nozel that I've had for years so well worth the purchase. It was on sale at Argos.Even sucks up spills.I've used it for when the dog had the same but I think, because he chose my new white Indian rug, that I got on hands and knees with some 1001 diluted in a spray bottle and a dish washing brush, paper towels to get it right out. Then used a carpet cleaner.I also had a steam cleaner for carpets that I got on offer. That pulled all the pet hairs out of the carpet and got rid of eau de dog.

We have a Numatic carpet cleaner....same firm that produces the Henry vacuum cleaner......and British. We use it on all our rental properties successfully.
If you need it only occasionally then renting one can be a worthwhile option. I believe Asda or B&Q rent carpet cleaners on a daily basis.

I have a scrubbing brush and Dr Beckmans carpet shampoo which we put in a spray bottle as it works better than the applicator bottle. We mostly deal with the other end (hairballs and plants) although we were looking after our Maine Coon's sister who got items tangled in her bum and left skid marks a boy racer would be proud of all over our lounge carpet. (Her name is Yuna and she got the nickname the Yuna Bummer as a result). The carpet came up clean, so a possible option in awkward to vacuum spaces?May you find your sister soon Helli.
