Hi,
I have recently been declined for a personal loan from nationwide. I appealed it and still got rejected. The reason apparently being that I missed a couple of direct debit payments for a savings account I have set up. Other than that my credit score is good, not in any debt , above average salary
I’m looking to borrow 7,500 for a new car
are there any other providers I can try that are more likely to accept?

is using your savings and topping them back up each month an option? The interest on a loan is likely to be higher than the interest on your savings so it would save you money overall0

Try Halifax, I've not had any credit for some years and they approved £19k for a car in a moment, a minute later it was in my account. Actually scarry how quick you can get into debt. I still owe £3k now, and the car is playing up

Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0
