Can anyone recommend a helmet camera?

Hi, I'm specifically after a helmet cam for road cycling. It won't be used to create content as such, it's more for my own protection and to report close passes. I tried a Go Pro imitation thing but it was really bulky and ugly. Looking for something way more discrete. Any ideas?

Drift Ghost was my choice when commuting, has a waterproof case and an extended battery for dry weather, £100 or so plus the accessories

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I am a cheapskate so I have one of these  https://chilli-tech.com/content/new-bullet-action-camera/

My first one lasted about 18 months but by then I’d already bought a second, thinking that I’d have one on the handlebars and one on my helmet.  That one is still going strong 2 years later.  It’s made in China and I think there are probably various other sellers.  It’s probably worth joining your local cycling Facebook group and asking them for suggestions.

i haven’t actually had to upload any footage to the police for over a year, then in the past 2 weeks uploaded several incidents.  I cycle in London and my outer London Borough is particularly cycle unfriendly, so for me  it’s the little local journeys that turn out to be the most dangerous.  Mind you about half of the drivers I reported recently had no MOT and presumably therefore no tax or insurance so can’t get the usual driver awareness course that might make them drive just a bit more carefully.

Mine is on my handlebars with a mount that fits my garmin too.  I’m thinking of fitting it to my helmet though as î think drivers take more care if they can see they are being filmed.
