Let us know.

The poll didn't ask how many cars I have.  So my answer was probably a bit misleading.
They asked how much you pay for insurance, not how much per car!
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Poll didn't ask how many convictions (points) you have either.

It didn't ask if the beast did 0-60 in 4.7 seconds either !! :)
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.
  • Far too many variables for the results to be at all meaningful.
  • I complete most MSE polls but when I try to view the results, the screen often remains blank. Today's poll is the latest example.
  • On the very few occasions that the media reports a rare serious accident involving a Senior driver, there follows a media hue cry to get us Seniors off the road.  If we were that much of a risk, the insurance companies would price us off the road.  Well, I've just received my latest renewal quote from Saga and, despite dire media warnings (including MSE) about price rises, my renewal quote has gone down around £30 this year.  I know another Senior who has experienced similar, around £40 down.  Well done Saga.

Perhaps Seniors are no longer the worst culprits on the roads. Somedays I wonder what country I'm driving in. Such is the total disregard for the Highway Code.
  • Last year I paid £712.68 to insure my car with LV=. This year the price was £887.10 so I got quotes on three of the comparison sites. I have taken out a policy with Allianz, which is arranged by LV=. The cost was £567.38 for the same level of cover.
