Renegotiate deal after agreement

Hi, it's been a while since I moved - had forgotten quite how long it can take!
We sorted out our mortgage about a month or so ago, 4.87% on a 2 year tracker, no fee, as the best option for our situation. The survey has gone through, and the mortgage approved.
Time has moved on, we haven't got an exchange date yet (though progress is being made throughout the chain), but rates are plummeting. The same mortgage is now 4.62%.
Is there anything stopping me trying to reopen talks with the mortgage provider (Halifax) to get the current offer as opposed to what we signed up for, given that the mortgage hasn't started, and we haven't even got a firm date in place?

Seems very dubious the rates you’re claiming on a tracker ha.0

No idea why I wrote tracker, I'm assuming the predictive text, poorly predicted! Clearly, that should have been 'fixed'.
Anyway, got an appointment to discuss, this afternoon.0
