What are my options?

We are looking to downside considerably next summer and become mortgage free, it is possible that we might need another year based on how market is in 8-9 months time, how soon we get a decent offer and also personally we work things out to put the house on market.  We can't sell any earlier than July next year because of schools etc.

Our very cheap fixed mortgage deal expires in February next year, and the mortgage would significantly jump if we don't do anything so also trying to avoid finances getting into a total wreck until the house is sold.

1. I looked at existing provider's (Virgin Money) site and all their remortgage deals (incl. trackers) come with early repayment charges - does anyone know if banks typically have other products that are not advertised openly?
2. I looked at a few comparison sites and there is no filter for no early repayment charges so hard to know if the rates I am looking at really have that option - does anyone know comparison site that clearly provides this?
3. Any other option?

If you want the flexibility of finishing early you will need to pay more for the privilege.
It might be worth it to look at a short fix with early repayment charges, you will just need to do your sums.

Thanks. Any charges are likely to make going for a fix pointless. I guess I'll just have to pay higher rate for a period of time and hope market picks up.
