Hi.
I own a third of a property.
I wish to buy a person out of their share which would mean I own two thirds.
Can you point me to a provider that would allow me to do this along with some sort of calculator.
The sum I would be borrowing is between 60-75k.

You cannot mortgage a third of a property, or two thirds, the mortgage would have to be on the whole property and would need to involve the person owning the other third.Do you think they would be willing to join with you accepting liability for the mortgage?1

Any lender will do it, but they would need the other owner (the one who owns the thrid you would not own) to be on the mortgage too. If they do not agree to be on the mortgage, then it cant be done.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
