Lowell - 8 accounts - minimum payment

Hello.
Yes, my heads been buried in the sand for a long time regarding debts but I want to get them sorted. I contacted lowell who have been texting me and they said basically there's a £10 minimum amount per account. Now, I don't think I can afford £80 a month so I am wondering what my options are?
Tbh, the way my finances are ATM they'll be lucky to get anything. I'm on a razor edge with basically everything atm. I only work part time due to caring commitments, and with rent and everything else I'm in a pretty horrible position.
I know they've said there's a minimum amount but is there really? Because that seems a bit wrong to me. What if I could only afford maybe £30 a month? Which is probably all i could afford. They do amount to quite a lot but still. Can they really demand a certain amount?

Just pay them what you can afford, £10 minimum is nonsense, some trying to meet their targets no doubt."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Lowell will have bought each account for around 10p in the £ or less.
If things are that tight money wise, write a letter to Lowell, tell them you have no disposable income to service these debts, and ask them to take a commercial decision and write the lot of them off, as you have no realistic way of ever repaying your indebtedness to them.
Looking at the worst case scenario, they take you to court for all eight accounts, court orders you to pay £1 per month, per account £8 in total, so what point is there to legal action? none.

You say they are texting. Are they writing?
I'd be ignoring them unless they send a proper letter. Then I'd want to know if any are out of time.
That means a six year period when you did not write or make payment. Phone calls don't count
Then if any of these started with a consumer credit agreement i'd check if Lowell could produce them1 -
Yea I think I was thinking of some other thread when I wrote my previous post.
Do the basics as per fatbelly`s post first, I was getting ahead of myself, keep the write off scenario for another time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
