Scottish Power SEG application

Has anyone any tips for applying to SCOTTISH POWER SEG TEAM. I,ve been trying since June to register so I can receive payment for what I have been exporting to them. They sent a guide of 13 pages to simply register and supply my bank account details. The user number and supplier/vendor number they gave is rejected when I try to login as not being valid. I told them this and received a link to follow and the same thing happened. If their over complicated system is to put one off from applying it’s certainly working !!!

I ought to be able to advise but I'm afraid it's 13 years since I set up our FIT arrangement and although they're still 'managing' that contract I have very little contact with them.  They were my supplier at the time but I moved our import tariff the following year (and several times since).

I tried for 8 months, via many systems, forms, 2 month waiting for replies. Eventually complained formally which they ignored and the ombudsman sided with me forcing them to pay me and compensation. Moved to Octopus and sorted in a week!

As above, do it with Octopus. I had the same hassle with OVO, gave up and tried Octopus. Sorted within 2 weeks. More money as well!.

Same here. Octopus export tariff went live just over a week after I put in my application. Octopus ask for MCS certificate number, and a copy of DNO approval or notification.

I've no particular allegiance to them but having used them for FIT payments, I've always been paid within three weeks of claiming whereas I've heard reports of some other FIT 'managers' taking several months.

Are you ever so desperate for cash that you can't wait a couple of weeks ?
