I see your reasoning and I like your choice of method and motive.   Anna says all the coffees are the same - so the penicillin would have to be in all 5 cups to be sure that Sue gets it.   Arthur says no sugar because he is diabetic so the coffees shouldn't be all the same.   Did Ginny put penicillin (small white tablets) in the coffee claiming it was sweetener so Anna didn't question?

Ginny with Penicillin does make sense, but I've got a nagging feeling that Arthur could also be the culprit.
Motive: he is a superfan and possibly a serial killer as two friends he has visited recently died shortly afterwards. Method: the sharp scratch Sue felt was him injecting her (he takes insulin so would have syringes with him)

Reasons why it wouldn't be Ginny? An allergic reaction to penicillin may not be fatal, plus it seems like a lot of other people know the truth about the book authorship so it would be pointless killing Sue alone.

Hmm, anyone else with a theory?

Just had a first, quick read of this. Will try to have another go before the deadline. My gut feeling is that it is Carrie Jones, the event organiser, because she was at school with Ginny. I think we're supposed to think it's Ginny. So because Carrie Jones is hardly mentioned, the reader ignores her. But she is mentioned, so must be important to the plot somehow. So my guess is that something happened between Ginny and Sue, and Ginny's old school friend, Carrie Jones has wreaked revenge on her, for the sake of friendship.

I thought Petra. If someone else was writing the books it could be her brother Simon. I am not sure how she did it though!

She could have put penicillin in all the coffees on the assumption that the others would be fine because they weren't allergic and it would only hurt sue?

Simon is only referred to in past tense - so is he dead?  Why would Petra kill Sue - more likely to kill Ginny in revenge.
